Summary:

The Fleet Safety Manager will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The responsibilities include but are not limited to developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that protect our employees, the communities we serve, and equipment.

Essential Job Function:
 Compliance and Regulation: Stay up to date with federal, state, and local transportation regulations, ensuring the fleet operations are always fully compliant.
 Safety Program Development: Create and implement fleet safety policies and procedures to foster a safety culture and promote a safe working environment.
 Continuous Camera Monitoring: Monitor video footage of commercial drivers continuously and maintain proper records of coaching sessions.
 Compliance and Regulation: Stay current with federal, state, and local transportation regulations, ensuring full compliance in fleet operations.
 Driver Training and Education: Conduct comprehensive driver training programs to enhance safe driving practices and minimize accidents.

 Accident Investigation: Lead accident and incident investigations to determine root causes, identify trends, and develop prevention strategies.
 Data Analysis: Analyze safety data, including telematics, incident reports, and other metrics, to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
 Safety Meetings: Organize and conduct safety meetings for drivers and other personnel to disseminate safety-related information and facilitate open communication.
 Continuous Improvement: Monitor safety performance continuously, identify improvement areas, and implement best practices to enhance safety across the fleet.
 Safety Culture Promotion: Encourage and support a safety-first culture among all employees by promoting awareness and recognizing safety achievements.
 Maintain Critical Files: Apply for permits and certifications (oversize, IFTA, NMFTA) for the company. Register titles and tags for company owned and leased equipment (County Fleet & IRP). Maintain Driver Qualifications files and driver records.

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
 3-5 years of experience in fleet safety management
 Extensive knowledge of FMCSA and DOT Regulations
 Valid State-Issued Driver’s License
 Willing to travel to all company-owned locations.

Essential Job Function:
 Able to work flexible hours and shifts and be reliable and punctual. The employee must also be willing and able to work long hours up to the maximum allowed hours of services permitted by DOT and state law.
 Willing and able to work at any time throughout the day/week/month.
 Establish and maintain a professional and friendly relationship with Company’s customers, clients, management & co-workers.
 Responsible for collecting C.O.D. deliveries in full and return to the Company.
 Ability to perform job functions as defined by the Company’s policy and management.
 Comply with the Company’s personal appearance policy, safety, and P.P.E. policies.
 Able to regularly climb heights of up to 13 feet on a ready-mix truck, using the truck steps and ladder, and work on a truck catwalk at an elevated height, in a front discharge ready-mix truck you must step down into the truck cab, perform daily Department Of Transportation pre and post-trip truck inspection, perform routine plant maintenance tasks, general cleaning, use small power tools and manual labor hand tools, lift 45-50 pounds and lift chutes chest high
 Maintain a clean exterior and interior of the truck.
 Comply with all OSHA safety requirements & policies, as well as report unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents immediately to the plant manager.
 Ability to read and write English.
 Ability to read GPS, a city, or a county map.

Requirements:
 High School Diploma or Equivalent
 Valid Issued Commercial Driver’s License – Class A or B
 DOT Medical Card
 Must be insurable by the Company’s insurance carrier and not have points on licensemore than the insurance company’s acceptable policy.
 Able to pass pre-employment physical and D.O.T. and drug/alcohol testing.

Summary:
The Plant Production Specialist coordinates the loading and unloading of concrete materials and the scheduling of Concrete Delivery Professionals. The primary responsibilities include but are
not limited to operating a computer batching system according to the specific customer requirements to load and dispatch ready-mixed concrete trucks.

Plant Maintenance Technician

Plant Maintenance Technician

Description:

Location: Toccoa, GA

Summary

We are currently seeking Full-Time Plant Maintenance Technicians

The plant maintenance technician will join a team responsible for daily maintenance and repair of 10 concrete plants and other facilities. Responsibilities will include:
• Plant maintenance, repair, and installation operations as assigned
• Performing special maintenance projects and repairs on all facilities
• Troubleshoot and determine appropriate repairs, replacing defective parts as needed
• Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in use at the plant.

The technician will be also responsible for the completion of the required paperwork, as well as communicating any maintenance that needs completed to management. This person will be expected to follow all safety regulations set forth by the company and maintain a clean working environment.
Technician must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. alone and be able to climb heights up to 80 feet.
The technician will be working in varying weather conditions and environments with substantial walking, bending, stooping, lifting or working in awkward or strained positions.

Technician will be asked to work overtime, odd hours and/or nights as well as some weekends as business needs determine.

Primary location based out of Toccoa, GA

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field
General experience with industrial equipment and ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Ready Mix plant operations. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, water systems, some welding, etc.
Ability to make simple electrical diagnosis and repairs. Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
Must have a valid driver’s license. Acceptable MVR and be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
